It's a little cozy for my Singer. Because even sewing machines get cold in the winter. My grandma bought this Singer in the early 50s. It still runs as smooth and true as the day she bought it. I love it.

Adore your new sewing machine cozy. I love that you sew on your grandma's old Singer...so sweet. Guess I should try to find that half-completed sewing machine cover I started last year. ;)
Oh, what I love I have for your sewing machine cozy! At first, I thought there'd be a toaster under there - what a nice surprise to see your beuatiful machine instead. You've got me itching to make a cozy for everything on my counters.
Oh my - this is SO fabulous. I've been thinking about trying to make something similar for my husband's battered old computer, which is missing the hard case. The brown (wool?) keeps this one from looking too girly. Your sewing skills constantly amaze me...I meant to leave a comment on your last shirt but was too slow.
What I know about sewing could be put in a thimble and there would still be room for a few of M&M's so that's not why I'm here. In fact I almost break out in hives at the thought of sewing. I failed the sewing part in home-ec when I was a youngster. I made a dress half wrong material showing and the teacher used is as an example of how NOT to sew. Although that is adorable and what a nifty sewing machine. I'm here to say Merci for drawing my name at The Twin's blog *g*. I told her to say thank you to you and if I wasn't infected with Lostanticipation, I would have realized sooner that - Hey! I can come and say so in person - so to speak. So from one romance book lover to the Twin of another romance book lover - my thanks and they will be well read *g*.
This is the coolest sewing machine cozy I have seen. You did a terrific job with it. It looks fresh, and very up to date. And, oh, the Singer, my heart skipped a beat. Jan
I have one of these old Singers too, and it only goes backwards and forwards, but I love it! It desperately needs a cosy now because its original case was musty and I threw it out, but it looks very sad covered by a big napkin. Thank you for this inspiration! Your work is lovely

Would you by any chance consider posting a tutorial? The cover is beautiful and would house my Janome just beautifully. I know this sounds crazy, but I've made many attempts to make on for my HT2008 and failed!! Help please
