That is absolutely adorable! This is definitely going on my to-do list...
That is GORGEOUS!I have my Grandma's old Husqvarna - still runs like a charm ;o)Oh...and thank you for the lovely Anthropologie photo's. Great, great window displays. We don't have Anthropologie here in Denmark :o( So I really appreciate it! Thanks!
what a fantastic little cover for a cute sewing machine.
A super series of photos. My heart skips a beat seeing that lovely machine come out from underneath its beautiful cover.
wow that's cute!
good golly! the cozy is as great as the sewing machine!
i am not sure which is cuter - the machine or the cozy! good work julie!
i think i see your singer smiling!(try to say that ten times fast...)
awesome awesome! I love it.
look at all those cute tiny little squares! and i am loving those wavy quilting lines. A+ julie!
very cute! and i see some familiar fabric in there- glad it is going on to fulfill its destiny of cuteness!
Adore your new sewing machine cozy. I love that you sew on your grandma's old Singer...so sweet. Guess I should try to find that half-completed sewing machine cover I started last year. ;)
Oh, what I love I have for your sewing machine cozy! At first, I thought there'd be a toaster under there - what a nice surprise to see your beuatiful machine instead. You've got me itching to make a cozy for everything on my counters.
I love the design, especially the wavy lines! Did you sew the cover on the singer, or do you have another machine you use?
So cute! What a great idea!
Oh my - this is SO fabulous. I've been thinking about trying to make something similar for my husband's battered old computer, which is missing the hard case. The brown (wool?) keeps this one from looking too girly. Your sewing skills constantly amaze me...I meant to leave a comment on your last shirt but was too slow.
Wow, that is gorgeous! I love the patchwork, and those wavy lines are just perfect. I love it!And the machine! *gasp*
Beautiful cozy (and machine), Julie! I've been thinking of sewing a cover for my machine, since it didn't come with one -- yours is inspiring.
beautiful cozy - love the patches on the side.beautiful machine too - do you use it ?
oh! the sewing machine... the cozy... the photos... love love. the combination of the bright patchwork with those sides, that stitching, is wonderful.
This is so cute! I need one for my grandma's Singer. (Also, I need something to keep little fingers from yanking on all the fun knobs and levers.)
Wonderful! The cover and the machine are so cute!
How cute! I need to make one of these for my Richelle.
it's wonderful! (both of them...)
Very zakka. LOVE it Julie. You've got such talent.
I love the colors!! What a fantastic project.
What I know about sewing could be put in a thimble and there would still be room for a few of M&M's so that's not why I'm here. In fact I almost break out in hives at the thought of sewing. I failed the sewing part in home-ec when I was a youngster. I made a dress half wrong material showing and the teacher used is as an example of how NOT to sew. Although that is adorable and what a nifty sewing machine.I'm here to say Merci for drawing my name at The Twin's blog *g*. I told her to say thank you to you and if I wasn't infected with Lostanticipation, I would have realized sooner that - Hey! I can come and say so in person - so to speak. So from one romance book lover to the Twin of another romance book lover - my thanks and they will be well read *g*.
that turned out fabulous! i love the whole idea, especially the wave stitching. very pretty!
Wow!That is amazingly cute!Love the fabrics, colors, the construction-awesome!
Wow! How cute! I love it! Your sewing machine is awesome too!
The cover is so beautiful! My grandma left me the same machine. Now I need to make it a warm cozy.
Very beautiful old sewing machine. So old-fashionned and still working (amazing!) Nice cozy too
This is the coolest sewing machine cozy I have seen. You did a terrific job with it. It looks fresh, and very up to date. And, oh, the Singer, my heart skipped a beat.Jan
I have one of these old Singers too, and it only goes backwards and forwards, but I love it! It desperately needs a cosy now because its original case was musty and I threw it out, but it looks very sad covered by a big napkin. Thank you for this inspiration! Your work is lovely
lovely cozy, lucky singer owner!
I saw a picture of this cozy yesterday, and then voila today I stumbled across your site. LOVE it. Love the cozy. I'm very tempted to make myself one quite like it. :)
Wow! Do you use it often? How amazing to create something on the very thing your grandmother did! The cover is cute too.
Please post a tutorial! Your work is beautiful!
Thanks for the nice post!
Would you by any chance consider posting a tutorial? The cover is beautiful and would house my Janome just beautifully. I know this sounds crazy, but I've made many attempts to make on for my HT2008 and failed!! Help please
