starry cards

My latest fun with the gocco. Experimenting with papers and colors.

My bear and snowman supervised the operation. They are good at that.

Like most self-respecting single women, I harbor a healthy disdain for this holiday which shall not be named but which inevitably comes upon us in the dark and gloom of deepest february. But if I did celebrate this holiday which shall not be named, I would most certainly give you all hearts and kisses and hugs and blugs.

Love the cards.

Although I'm married, I still don't care for "this holiday". =)

Ooh, blugs!

Love the cards. The pattern reminds me of traditional folk art mittens.

Wow, every time I visit your blog, I realize how much I want to be creative, but how little talent I possess at being creative. It looks like so much fun, but I never seem to have the oomph to follow through with the desire to create. In my defense, I am working on a throw blanket (crocheting), but I started that last April, and now it's closing in on 1 year of working on it, and I'm still not finished!! Maybe if I visit your blog more often it will inspire me and I will start taking baby steps in the direction of expressing myself through creativity. I LOVE all of your pictures - it's so fun to see everything that you're making!! Love from Texas!

Beautiful cards, Julie. How can I order some of these from you (since you haven't got the etsy shop that I'm dying for you to set up)?
