cadbury milk eggs
i can eat bags and bags and
still want to eat more.

A haiku for Shari. I made this little felt box to hold our cadbury milk eggs. I was feeling the need to do itty-bitty handwork. Do you ever get that urge? I do, along with the urge to eat cadbury milk eggs. Good thing they only sell them at Easter, or I might begin to resemble a cadbury milk egg.

My neighbor's garden is waking up. Do you see his little daffodils in this shoddy picture I just snapped from my window? His garden fills me with such joy. Twin and I think he actually has fairies and/or gnomes who garden for him, though. Because despite his spectacular garden, we never see him working in it. It's a mystery.

I will leave you with a few links of some lovely crafty ladies I have discovered recently:

Cadbury mini eggs are evil. I was so thankful that they only came once a year until this past Christmas, when I saw CHRISTMAS eggs. How dare they?

Its a terrible addiction. I'm sure we could start a group. Love your little box.

Ohmy! Cadbury Milk Eggs are my FAVORITE candy. Not far behind are Wonka's Heartbreakers (they are out at valentine's time.)

Now I'm gonna have to go scrounge cabinets for a little chocolate...

my twin and i eat hoards of cadbury eggs! she does this thing where she'll buy a gross amount of bags and save them so we can eat them all year long (well, when we see one another)! it's so disgustingly terrific! (did you know cadbury made christmass balls just like the eggs? my sister still has a bag of those...) i enjoy reading your blog (by the way)!

Yummy eggs.

Maybe that guy gardens at night when he can't sleep? I know gardens do not make themselves -- oh how I know.

I just got a bag of cadbury eggs and I didn't like them! looks like I am alone on this one....I mean, the chocolate, yes! but the powdery egg shell didn't sit well with me. i must be weird or pregnant. whatever.
at first I thought your neighbor's garden was a little pretend playset. It looks so whimsical and unreal. what a beautiful garden to view from your window. definitely fairies working in there.

a Cadbury milk eggs... divine. And do you eat them by colour? Yellow one last because they are the pretties.

Or is it just me?

Mmm, I love those little eggs, here in the UK they are called mini eggs, I bought 2 packets today. I like your little box, I should make one too, although I dont know that the eggs will last long enough out on display!! I eat them in colour order too, saving the prettiest until last, I thought I was the only one silly enough to do that.

Is the man next door retired?
Like our neighbors across the street, whose garden always looks fabulous with nary a leaf anywhere, the work is done while I'm at work. Occasionally, I'll see John on a Saturday, but rarely. If I come home for lunch, he's often out there.

And hope you have a lovely week all week long.

I get that urge all the time, but it doesn't always stick around long enough for me to finish the project!

i get that wee handwork urge from time to time... related to but distinct from the embroidery one. hmmm.
oh cadbury, how i love thee. though my poison of choice in this season is the creme egg. luckily it seems to nauseate everyone around me so i get them all to myself! :)

oooh, these chocolate eggs are my weakness too. can't believe we all share the same craving. your blog is lovely as usual and am thrilled i made the list. thanks.

please don't resent these tiny scrumptious can't-get-enough-of-you mini eggs, they will be off the shelves in no time.. mid october i'll wish i had saved a package.

That's funny you bet me to it! I give little packages of mini eggs away to my friends at Easter and am going to post a photo on my blog soon. It's the colours I love. Ok, the chocolate's not bad either.
