I agree 100% with what you have said and I'm backing Obama. I was originally for Joe Biden and now I get to have the best of both worlds.

I have an Obama link on my blog, but I want to change it out for your link and send people to your fund raising efforts. I will also provide a link to this post. More people need to read this.

I had to come to your site when I saw the sidebar button. I appreciate your willingness to stand up for your beliefs and that you know the facts about why you're voting for your candidate. As stirring as Obama is, I can't vote for him because of his stances on partial birth abortion and feeling it's necessary to give kindergarten through fifth graders a sex education. I want a changed world, not one where the government tells my daughter what is right and wrong in regards to her own body. There's no "choice" there for me. I don't believe in the same forms of birth control as he does and definitely not keeping live babies from receiving a doctor's care in the hospital if a partial birth goes wrong! I would have to say I'm a liberitarian too. Unfortunately we're not represented in the election!

Ms. Lurker coming out of the weeds to tell you how much I enjoyed your post. The Democratic party has an historic chance to change the course of history; to be a responsible member of this planet and heal so many wounds. And I agree, Barack Obama is the one who most excites me (I love Hillary too) but Barack's message of inclusiveness just resonates with me so strongly. I will support who ever is the Democratic nominee, how lucky to have to choose between two winners.

Love the button and the idea behind it. Obama's message is inspiring, but he backs it up by delivering the vote. I'm amazed by how much enthusiasm his supporters have and amazed by how many independents and Republicans are willing to vote for him. I think either of the Democrats would be vastly superior to any of the Republicans (and I was really disappointed when Edwards dropped out), but I think Obama is more electable. And if we want change, we need to win. Go Obama!

in agreement with so much of what you say here, julie... i am a very political person and i am very tired of holding my nose and voting for the lesser of two evils (cough*kerry*cough). i felt good with my absentee vote for obama, even though we were disenfranchised in FL (grrr). i have my fingers crossed for tomorrow. xo

definitely happy to see that you're blogging again, and the "crafters for Obama" button is adorable. If I make up my mind in that direction, I will surely add it to my blog. right now i'm still a determined but almost hopeless Ron Paul supporter. I don't agree with everything any candidate says, but aside from living in a very liberitarian household, I really want Americas to be less lazy and take better care of themselves and their communities. I want an America where people rely less on the gov't and put in more effort to improve the things they can. Though i like the idea of "small government" better than "big government", what I really want is less slacking and complaining on everyone's part.
If Obama can make Americans have faith in themselves enough to get out from behind the TV sets and make change, then I'll seriously consider giving him my vote.

(I feel I should appologize, I never talk about politics online, but this time I'm stirred up... thanks)
